ToDo is published by Evolved Tech Stack ("we", "us", or "our"), a software development studio based in Gauteng, South Africa. You can reach us at szarathk@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
ToDo is designed to work without collecting personal information. The app stores all your tasks, habits, and settings locally on your device. We do not have access to your data.
3. Location Data
The app may request access to your device's location to provide location-based reminders and geofencing features. This location data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. Location access is optional and can be disabled through your device settings, though this may limit certain app features.
4. Device permissions
The app requests only the permissions needed for its core functionality (tasks, habits, notifications, and location-based reminders). Any information accessed through those permissions stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
5. Data retention
Because we do not collect personal information, we do not store or retain any user data on our servers. All data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear the app's data through your device settings.
6. Third parties
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Play Services – for app distribution and updates
- AdMob – to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can review Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's Google account settings under Ads → Delete advertising ID.
We do not share any other data with third parties.
7. Children
This app is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our services, please contact us immediately.
8. Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using Android's encrypted storage. We do not operate servers that store your information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect new features or practices. When changes are made, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
