BudgetRise by Evolved Tech Stack
Delete your BudgetRise data
BudgetRise stores finance data locally on your Android device and, if you opt in, inside your Google Drive account. Follow the steps below to erase information immediately. If you need confirmation, use the secure request form and our team will respond within 30 days.
Step 1 · Remove data from your device
- Open BudgetRise on your Android phone or tablet.
- Go to Settings → Security.
- Tap Erase All Data and confirm the prompt.
This wipes the local SQLite database, encrypted SharedPreferences, caches, receipts, reminders, and notification schedules instantly. The app restarts in a clean state as if it were freshly installed.
Step 2 · Delete Google Drive backups (optional)
- Visit drive.google.com and sign in with the same Google account you use for BudgetRise backups.
- Select the gear icon → Settings → Manage Apps.
- Scroll to BudgetRise, click the options menu, and choose Delete hidden app data.
Drive deletes the encrypted backup immediately. Because the file lives under your Google account, only you can perform this step. BudgetRise does not keep a server-side copy.
What gets erased?
- Expenses, categories, budgets, and envelope balances.
- Receipt image URIs, PDFs, and attachment metadata.
- Reminders, recurring schedules, notifications, and preferences.
- Local security settings (PIN / biometric toggles).
BudgetRise does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, crash logs, or behavioral tracking data. Once you complete the steps above, nothing remains on-device or in Drive.
Retention exceptions
We may retain legally required artifacts such as purchase receipts or transactional emails for accounting and compliance purposes. These records stay in secure archival storage and are not linked to your app data.
